Dogs in the summer just seem to go hand-in-paw with fond memories. Whether they’re galloping on a beach, lazing in the sun or leaving a trail of drool from the water dish to the shade of your hammock, dogs in the summer are our happy place.

Kim has always had an interest in animal welfare and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a child. Her childhood home held a menagerie of animals! Presently, she volunteers for Audubon Zoo, a wildlife sanctuary, and the New Orleans Bulldog Rescue. Pets remind her that we have a responsibility to preserve, nurture and care for all life. She enjoys sharing her home and couch with her husband and two pampered bulldogs.
